Join us this August for one or more events in the ‘Pathways in Linguistics’ series. These sessions are open to all students taking, or thinking about taking, courses in Linguistics. If you are interested in knowing more about possible future directions for work or study, and connections between your skills and knowledge and a range of career paths, come along to learn more and have any questions answered. All sessions will be 1-2pm on Thursdays.

This practical workshop is designed to help you decode job advertisements and understand how your skills and experiences align with the requirements of potential employers. Learn how to identify key job criteria, match your qualifications to job specifications, and effectively present yourself as a strong candidate. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with strategies to tailor your applications and increase your chances of success in the job market. All students are welcome.
